Homeland Intelligence Technologies, Inc., is a privately held C Corporation that was incorporated in the State of Florida on August 13, 2003 and is based in Clearwater, Florida. Prior to that date, research and development of the existing products was started shortly after the events of 9/11. During the development process, the opinion and input of multiple law enforcement agencies was obtained to further develop these products, and has resulted in the available product line today. All financing for this development came internally, and as a result , the company is debt free.
The equipment has been designed to incorporate some of the latest technology, as well as being extremely affordable. The main goal of this equipment is deterrence, by providing the means in reducing vulnerability to terrorism, with the result of having incident free zones. Our equipment facilitates the necessary protective measures in combating terrorism which is consistent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security by establishing strategic active overt deterrence with forward layered security.
With an emphasis on affordability, mobility, and durability our equipment and systems amplify the ability to prevent, deter, respond and mitigate the effects of a potential terrorist attack or incident. Belhasa Group of Companies
As with many trading businesses in the Gulf the Belhasa Group started as a vision of its founder and current Chairman, Dr Ahmed Saif Belhasa. In the mid 60s Dr Belhasa started his first company, Union Trading Co LLC., which traded in imported used cars and equipment for power projects with other Arab countries. With limited personal resources but with careful planning and direction the company gradually expanded, from trading into construction, then into construction materials and then into services, doing business not only in the UAE but also in various other Arab countries.
As his businesses grew Dr Belhasa added increasingly capable management resources and the management processes that would enable him to continue to build his Group whilst allowing him time to plan for further growth and to travel extensively, looking for products and services that would take root and prosper in Dubai.
Over the years the Groups companies have undertaken larger and more sophisticated contracts within the construction sector in Dubai , in other Emirates and outside UAE. It is also now importing vehicles from Japan, Korea, China and Europe, exporting goods and services to Iran, Iraq and the Far East, assisting increasing numbers of students in passing their car, bus, truck and industrial plant driving examinations, supplying SMS messages to mobile telephone users and booking tickets and holidays for travellers. Such is the diversity of the Groups current operations.
The Group has thus contributed to the industrial development of the UAE and, indeed , other Gulf countries and it has also established sea transport, mineral / natural gas and underground water exploration operations .
Today the Group has approximately 4,500 employees, has Representative Offices in a number of overseas countries and has around 20 subsidiary and associate companies. The Groups management is drawn from the Middle East, from Asia and from a number of European countries: a reflection of the multi-cultural and global nature of its business activities.
